Video and selfie-based identification
Video and selfie-based identification systems provide a fast and secure solution in an online environment where a customer identification equivalent to personal identification is required for contractual or legal reasons (primarily
according to Act on Money Laundering). The process can be fully automated (selfie-based identification) but it is also possible for the operator to identify the customer via a special video chat application and verify his/her identity documents. With this method, legal declarations can be made, bank accounts can be opened, contracts can be concluded and amended without meeting in person or using an electronic signature.

Online contracting technologies
The legislation today makes it widely possible for the parties concerned to approve various agreements, declarations and contracts online without meeting in person. All of the technologies supported by Finste meet the strictest security requirements, they do not require the parties to obtain additional authentication tools and can be flexibly adapted to the needs of different contract types and service providers.

Introduction of a video-based customer service system within 8 business days
Client: Market-leading large Hungarian enterprise
Challenge: Spring of 2020, the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The customer’s entire service activity had to be moved to the secure online space as soon as possible to protect the health of customers and the employees of the service provider.
Solution: Preparation of a fast, robust and secure video-based customer service system tailored to the client’s image and professional management of the implementation project, with a market-leading solution in just 8 business days.
Result: A large number of satisfied customers for whom previous in-person administration has been simplified into a few minutes long web or video call.
Introduction of video bank system
Client: One of Hungary’s digitally developed banks
Challenge: rapid and cost-efficient implementation of video customer service system and a video-based identification system-related online account opening.
Solution: We integrated a market-leading video bank solution into the online account opening system of the bank, while supporting the design of the video customer service centre and assisting in the creation thereof.
Result: A growing number of retail and individual entrepreneur clients started using the video banking service to open accounts. The solution relieved the burden of the bank’s branch network and provided an opportunity to increase customer acquisition and to continue business activities smoothly during the pandemic.
Project coordination of digitalisation projects
Client: Market-leading large Hungarian enterprise
Challenge: Ensuring quality assurance, expert and project coordination support and IT business analysis competence during various digitalisation projects.
Our support: Continuous professional quality assurance of business needs, requirement specifications and supplier offers. Representing business aspects and needs at the supplier, IT and other professional meetings. Preparing appropriate documentation (e.g. implementation checklist, findings on testing methodology) after examining the preliminary phases of projects.
Result: We facilitated more efficient communication between the business and IT areas by summarising and coordinating the needs. As a result of our contribution, the projects can be more easily kept within the predefined framework (time, cost, quality).
Supporting the project management of instant payment system
Client: Implementer of one of the biggest instant payment systems in Hungary
Challenge: Implementation and integration of an instant payment system with related banking systems and business and administration processes in a strict regulatory environment and within strict deadlines.
Our support: As members of the project management team, we provided professional project management support. We participated in the identification of critical tasks arising during the implementation of the project, as well as in the development, coordination and implementation of action plans aimed at their timely implementation.
Result: The client successfully implemented one of the busiest instant payment systems in the country. We are proud of being able to participate in the work of the highly successful implementation team.
Digitalisation audit and preparation of transformation strategy
Client: Hungarian-owned financial service provider
Challenge: Preparation of an IT strategy tailored to the business strategy and digital focus of the company.
Our support: As part of a comprehensive audit, we assessed the extent to which the company’s IT organisation, strategy and operation are capable of effectively supporting the business strategy, in particular of achieving the digitalisation and innovation goals. To this end, we conducted interviews with all relevant actors (leaders, IT employees) and analysed related documents.
Result: Based on the experience of the survey, we prepared a draft of the company’s IT strategy, defined the necessary resources and made suggestions for changes and improvements that are essential to achieve the goals.
Screening and evaluation of digitalisation project
Client: Market-leading large Hungarian enterprise
Challenge: Situation assessment based on real information, based on which the client can draw appropriate conclusions about the future of a major digitalisation project.
Our support: In-depth interviews with the project stakeholders (20+ people), review of operational experience, based on collection and analysis of related documentation we prepared a report on the challenges, results and opportunities related to the project.
Result: The report prepared by Finste served as a key decision support tool for the organisation’s management.
